After successful Young European Peers 2012 which was held in Berlin, Germany from July 17th until July 27th, the 2013 edition is already being organised and now it is your turn to apply!
Young European Peers is an international project gathering 28 young people from 7 different countries in order for them to learn more about human rights, public speaking and the European Union. The project is taking place in Brussels from July 17th until July 27th.
YEP 2013 will allow its participants from Armenia, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg and Norway to gain new knowledge and skills through extensive debates and workshops. Apart from getting a chance to take part in well-organised workshops and presentations, the participants will visit the official EU institutions, human rights organisations and talk to professionals in these fields.
– Young European Peers is truly a wonderful experience to all those who decide to apply for it and eventually become participants. After the last year edition which I co-organised with my European friends – Narine, Haris, Katerina, Dorotheé, Marianne and Jonas; during which I saw that each participant developed in their own unique way in that international environment, we decided to organise YEP 2013 in Brussels. I guarantee all those who take part in this project will learn something new and valuable about the project’s topics, but also get a chance to create and foster great international friendships, said Arthur Barbé from Belgium, the head organiser of Young European Peers 2013.
The organisers cover the costs of the airplane ticket, accommodation and food during this eleven-day seminar, while the participants only need to pay 50 euros of the participation fee.
The deadline for sending the applications is 23:59, May 1st, 2013.
